The department of history was Established from the inception of the college. The faculty of History consists of one Assistent Professor and one guest faculty. Apart from teaching the faculties also involves in examination and evaluation work of Mysore University and have attended many national and state level seminars, workshops and history of congress.
The faculty works for the entire development of each student by organizing seminars, conducting educational tours that include historical places, visiting monuments, temples and holy places. The students are evaluated by tests, Quiz, seminars, general science examination, and remedial classes. From 2008-09 academic year faculty uses the T.V and projector to enlighten student regarding art and architecture.
