With the initiation, encouragement and co-operation of the management, principal, with the approval of University of Mysore and Government of Karnataka Commerce department was established in the year 1985 at Vijaya First Grade College, Pandavapura.
Faculty of Commerce department consists of 3 Associate Professors and 3 guest faculty, In addition to teaching the faculty has involved in academic activities like examination work, paper setting, and evaluation work of
mysore University, KSOU and other autonomous colleges. Besides faculty always takes active participation in extra curricular activities of the college..
The activities of the department include classroom teaching, student’s participation in factory visits, bank visits, Special lecturer programmers, assignment work, seminars and skill development activities. Students performance are evaluated by conducting Tests, Viva, Seminars, Group Discussions Etc.
