Department of Geography started with the establishment of the college in the year 1983. The Faculty of Geography consists of , one Assistant Professor and one guest faculty. The faculty besides teaching, involved in examination and evaluation work of mysore University, actively participated in the extra curricular activities of the college and attended many national state level seminars. The department of Geography organizes educational tour to students every year, evaluates students performance by conducting tests giving assignments, arranging seminars and through skill development activities.
The department as well equipped with TV, DVD, Computer, CD’S on geography subjects , OHP, 3D maps, Screens, Topographical maps, weather maps, geographical terms models and epidiascope etc.
