The Faculty of Economics consists of 2 Assistant Professors. The faculty in addition to teaching economics to B A students, teaches financial Markets and Managerial economics to B Com students.
Faculty of economics besides teaching involved in examination and evaluation work in mysore University, attended many workshops, seminars, refresher courses, organized seminars, presented paper in national and state level seminars. The department has its own library with 200 books and runs planning forum.
Students are updated and evaluated through tests and viva organizing seminars arranging special lectures and conducting essays on economics related issues.
